Corporate social responsibility

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is something that we take very seriously at Sanofi and not something we can do justice to in a few paragraphs.

Why? Quite simply because it's inherent in everything that we do - and absolutely essential to our business model. Our sustainability is reliant on acting in an appropriate and ethical way. This is not an 'add-on' to what we do, but integral to our every decision, whether we're considering opening a new factory in Brazil or changing the type of paper we use in our offices.

That's because we're aware of who we are and what we do, so we need to ensure that our methods are exemplary. Everyone in the business contributes to this, sharing in the vision and shouldering the responsibilities.

Whether we're raising funds for charity, working with advocacy groups, fighting Malaria alongside the World Health Organisation (WHO) or working on the Informed Patient Initiative to make medical information understandable and relevant to the patient (piloting in oncology), we've carefully considered the environmental, social and economic impact of our choices.
